چکیده
Building change detection using remote sensing images is significant to urban planning and city monitoring. The height information extracted from very high resolution (VHR) satellite stereo provides valuable for the of 3D changes in buildings. However, most existing algorithms are based on independent segmentation two-temporal feature fusion spectral change. These methods do not consider spatial context simultaneously. In this paper, we propose a novel building algorithm Co-segmentation, which makes full use contained stereoscope data. An energy function containing information, constructed. Image morphological index (MBI), obtained by robust normalized digital surface models (nDSM) difference. Co-segmentation divides into changed foreground unchanged background through graph-cut-based minimization method. object-to-object results overlay analysis, quantitative values calculated according correspondence. superiority proposed that it can obtain buildings planar vertical performance evaluated detail six groups datasets. experimental prove effectiveness algorithm.

Automatic 3d Change Detection Based on Optical Satellite Stereo Imagery
When monitoring urban areas from space, change detection based on satellite images is one of the most heavily investigated topics. In the case of monitoring change in 2D, one major shortcoming consists in the lack of height change detection. Thereby only changes related to reflectance values or local textures changes can be detected. However, changes in the vertical direction are completely ign...
متن کاملComparison of Two Fusion Based Building Change Detection Methods Using Satellite Stereo Imagery and Dsms
Digital Surface Models (DSMs) can assist building change detection in a variety of approaches. Limited to the quality of DSMs from satellite stereo imagery, it is hard to reach precise change detection results using only DSMs. Therefore, DSMs should be used in combination with the spectral information from original stereo imagery. For that purpose, two fusion based methods, one using feature le...

In this paper, we will present a highly automated method of extracting 3D building information. Our approach set out to locate the vertices of building roof. For a start, we will limit our development to high rise buildings with approximately flat rooftop. If the main corners and intermediate vertices can be found, the 3D building model can be constructed. Our study is applying stereo pair sate...
متن کاملValidation of Volunteered Geographic Information Landuse Change Using Satellite Imagery
Land use change monitoring is one of the main concerns of managers and urban planners due to human activities and unbalanced physical development in urban areas. In this paper, a combination of remote sensing data and volunteered geographic information was used to assess the quality of volunteered geographic information on land use and land cover changes monitoring. For this purpose, the ORBVIE...
متن کاملChange Detection Analysis of Forest Areas Using Satellite Stereo Data
Tree height is a fundamental parameter for describing the forest situation which can be determined by different means. In this paper a novel region based forest change detection method is proposed using panchromatic CARTOSAT-1 stereo imagery. In the first step, DSMs from two dates are generated based on a new dense matching methodology called semi-global matching. To achieve reliable change det...
